Description:
Our Yard Inspector is responsible for inspecting trailers and dollies in the yard to find equipment that is in need of repairs. The Yard Inspector will also assist Trailer Technicians in the repair of equipment. This is a great opportunity for the person that wants to learn the skills required to advance to a Trailer Technician position.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect trailers and dollies.
- Assist Trailer Technicians with equipment repairs.
- Occasionally pick up parts at various locations.
- Perform other shop duties as assigned.
- Accurately complete paperwork and enter into computer.
- Adhere to parts-room inventory scanning protocol.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Desire to learn skills required to advance to a Trailer Technician position.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
